So my photograph, Yang.? It got me a scholarship. I'm not sure how much as I haven't officially received it yet, but it's still awesome. I have a few projects to upload from my art class; I did a charcoal still life and I'm working on a watercolor landscape right now (I have mixed feelings about it). My next project will also be a watercolor, but a portrait this time. Why I torment myself like this, I will never know. I'm also almost finished with the necklace that I was commissioned to make. Okay, some quick updates: I submitted a few photos to the community college art show (the same one as last year) and Yang. got accepted. I'm not sure what it placed, but my art teachers were thrilled to have photographs entered as we don't have a photography class. My mom gave me her old film camera when she realized that the digital trend caused people at walgreens and such to print film poorly and bought a digital camera. It's a Pentax ME Super, so it's a touch on the old side but it works fine. I found an instruction manual for it and bought some black and white film. Well, I haven't done much artwork lately, but I hope to change that. My dad gave me a really nice tripod for my digital camera and I've already used it for a self-portrait. This is going to be great for me because I don't have very steady hands and my camera is pretty motion-sensitive. Still waiting for colleges to get back to me and it's utterly maddening.
